About Me
Ali's Guide to Sanity in an Insane World

Welcome to this corner of the internet where mental wellness meets creativity, compassion, and a splash of coffee-fueled honesty. If you're tired of self-care tips that feel like a full-time job, or mental health blogs that forget we're human (and hilarious), you're in the right place.
Soulemedy is where we unpack big feelings with gentle curiosity, talk mental health without the medical mumbo-jumbo, and sprinkle in practical tools that actually work in real life — you know, the kind with laundry piles, deadline chaos, and toddlers asking for snacks every five minutes.
A Bit About Me (Yes, I’m Qualified and slightly caffeinated)
I hold a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Psychology, plus two Master's degrees — one in Criminal Justice (with a focus on victimology) and another in Social Work. Translation? I know the ins and outs of trauma, healing, human behavior, and what it means to hit rock bottom… and then dust yourself off with grace and maybe a little sass.
But beyond the academic creds, I’m a human who's navigated burnout, anxiety, and life’s many plot twists. Soulemedy was born from my own need for something softer, slower, and more soul-nourishing. A remedy, if you will.
What You’ll Find at Soulemedy
This isn’t just another blog. It’s your wellness toolkit, creative journal, and cozy virtual hug — all rolled into one. Expect to find:
Mindfulness practices that won’t make you roll your eyes
Emotional healing tips with a side of humor
Real talk on anxiety, burnout, and boundaries
Simple soulful rituals for busy brains
You’ll also stumble upon my passion project — writing children’s books. My first title, Princess Fancy Pants, follows Gabby, a wildly imaginative little girl who teaches her family how to play, laugh, and live in the moment. It’s fun, it’s funky, and it’s secretly packed with emotional lessons for kids and grown-ups alike.
Why Soulemedy?
Because healing doesn’t have to be clinical. Because your soul deserves remedies that feel like sunshine, not spreadsheets. And because we all need a place that reminds us we’re not alone — especially on the days when everything feels a little heavier than usual.
This is for the seekers, the empaths, the recovering perfectionists, and anyone who's ever needed a soft place to land. If that sounds like you, I’m so glad you’re here.
Let’s Stay Connected
Whether you’re sipping tea or dodging deadlines, take a moment to breathe, scroll around, and settle in. I’d love to hear from you, laugh with you, and grow alongside you. Let’s heal out loud, together.
